Open Now – Welcome to Stringfield Yarn Collective
At Stringfield Yarn Collective we believe that fiber arts are for everyone. More
than just a yarn shop, we are a community-driven space where makers of all
skill levels can gather, create, and share their love for fiber arts in an open and
inclusive environment.
Yarn for Every Maker
We carry the tools and products you need to create beautiful fiber art. We proudly
support local and independent dyers while striving to remain accessible to as many
makers as possible. Our selection includes wool, superwash wool, cotton, bamboo, cashmere, alpaca, mohair, silk and acrylic, with a variety of commercial yarn for every budget.
Our Mission:
Cultivating community through fiber arts, Stringfield Yarn Collective aims to inspire
creativity, spark joy, and foster a welcoming atmosphere where fiber art enthusiasts
of all backgrounds can connect, share, and grow their craft.
Craftivism – Making with Meaning
At Stringfield Yarn Collective, we believe that fiber arts are more than just a craft they
are a powerful form of self-expression, connection, and activism. Craftivism is the act of using fiber arts to make a statement, spark change, and stand up for what matters.
We are firm believers in equal rights, diversity, equity, and inclusion. In times like
these, we can’t afford not to be active with our voices and our art. Craft has always
been intertwined with activism—from quilts sewn for suffrage movements to protest
banners stitched with messages of solidarity, even knitting relaying messages during WWII. Whether it’s knitting for social justice, making hats for a cause, or using fiber arts to amplify marginalized voices, weencourage our community to create with intention and purpose.
Stringfield Yarn Collective is a safe and inclusive space for everyone.
We stand firmly in our values:
Trans Lives Matter
Black Lives Matter
Love is love. We believe in marriage equality.
No human is illegal on stolen land.
Hate is NOT welcome.
We are also committed to accessibility for people with disabilities—because fiber
arts should be for everyone. We strive to provide an inclusive environment where all
makers, regardless of ability, feel welcome and supported. We could just sell yarn, but that’s not what we want to be about. Stringfield Yarn Collective is about community, connection, and making a difference—one stitch at a time.
